We are the youth extension of the Home Builders Association of Central Louisiana, committed to providing safe, affordable housing and promoting the homebuilding industry. Our mission includes advocacy, education, and leadership development for high school students through real-world experiences and community involvement.

Our Schools

The Student Chapter currently operates in partnership with two high schools:

Tioga High School – A leader in hands-on education and real-world skills development, Tioga High School’s career and technical education programs help students build confidence and prepare for life after graduation. Their participation in the Student Chapter enhances access to community service, career exploration, and leadership training through construction and agriculture pathways.
Grant High School – Actively participating in chapter activities, events, and professional development through industry exposure.

Scholarships

Scholarship contributions start at $1,000 with a 2-year minimum commitment. Funds are paid directly to the student upon meeting all senior-year qualifications outlined in the application. Scholarships are awarded through local sponsorships and HBACL fundraising events, such as the annual Aim for Education Skeet Shoot.
